Information design

The opportunity

When information is critical, clarity cannot be an afterthought. The work focused on surfacing the right context at the right moment, so complex health information could feel more actionable and less overwhelming.

The challenge

Medtronic had a very institutional website that needed a facelift and needed to be responsive for their doctors and practitioners to enjoy using.

The approach

Leveraging emotional design, the redesign resulted in a beautiful site with a warm look and feel that focuses not only on a medical product that saves lives, but also on the human aspect: empowered patients that can continue their quality of life. With a fully responsive site, busy doctors and practitioners can view the site on their phone, tablet, or desktop. As part of the UX team, I was responsible for wireframes, annotations, functional specifications.
